Theonie (Theo) has been in the counseling profession for 16 years. She uses a client-centered framework, having witnessed the enormous therapeutic power in providing unconditional positive regard to each individual. Theonie provides a kind, caring, and warm atmosphere where her clients can feel comfortable being themselves. Her goal is to provide an optimum environment for personal growth, where clients feel heard, understood, and accepted. With a strong cognitive behavioral background, she also highly values, and often recommends, engaging in therapeutic activities outside of therapy sessions.

Theonie became licensed to practice independently in the state of Maryland as an LCPC (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor) in 2009.
